René Johansen's Twisted Symbolism.

Rene Johansen is a Danish artist whose passion for art began when he was 16 and had to give up his dream of becoming a railway driver. Living on his own he was taught history, philosophy and iterature by friends when he decided to go to Art School. Since then and under the influence of painters such as Dali, van Gogh, Munch, Magritte, Monet and DaVinci he has prduced a massive body of work that has been exhibited in several European capitals. Using tempera, acryl, oil, pastelles, or anything at hand he doesn't care about fame and doesn't want to tell people to see what he sees but hopes to make them stop and wonder, think and perhaps realize his secret twisted symbolism.
