Rei Ayanami is an experimental art photographer who believes firmly in Back to Basics. She is mostly using self crafted pinhole cameras, polaroid land cameras, polaroids and medium or small format film. For Rei who describes herself as light meeting darkness, photography is about telling stories words cannot tell. She is inspired by everything that catches the eye and fits in with the inner discourse. December born Rei lives in London and travels the world with her astonishing equipment.
