From
an early age Aëla Labbé devoted herself to dancing, a passion which
led her to Amsterdam where she studied theatre-dance at the Hogeschool
voor de Kunsten for three years. Back in France, she became
increasingly interested in photography, which she sees as by essence
connected to dance. To create and to share her vision is a need and a
goal after which she goes unwaveringly. Inspiration overwhelms her
ceaselessly - day...and night! Her deeply haunting work is made up of
memories, emotions, hopes, thoughts, inner turbulences, dust, woods,
and reverie above all.
